About: Originally hailing from Penang, Malaysia, Caster has performed professionally with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra,
Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira, National Symphony Orchestra, of Malaysia and numerous other symphonic groups throughout the world.
Since coming to the United States, Caster has appeared in numerous orchestras including USC Symphony and Wind Ensemble, Corona Symphony,
University of Iowa Symphony, Westwood Symphony, Oskaloosa Symphony, Ottumwa Symphony, Westwood Symphony and the Center for New Music Orchestras.
A graduate with distinction from the University of Iowa, School of Music, Caster is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda and Phi Beta Kappa Society.
While attending college, he was a finalist in the Maia Quartet competition and also the University’s concerto competition. Currently, he is
pursuing his masters degree at the USC Thornton School of Music. His teachers are David Greehoe (Quad City Symphony), Boyde Hood (Los Angeles
Philharmonic), Andrew Balio (Baltimore Symphony), John Bourque and William Theis (Malaysian Philharmonic).
