About: Shane Graham is a professional drummer who has been playing for 16 years and teaching drums privately and in groups for 8 years. Shane had studied drum and percussion music in various forms including jazz, latin, and world music. He is a graduate at the Cal State University, Northridge with a BA in Music Industry Studies. Shane really enjoys the art of teaching and loves to pass down and share his knowledge of music and drumming with all his adult and kid students; having experience teaching with every age range. He is a very patient and thorough teacher who prefers to take the time with each of his students to make sure they are fully grasping everything and at the same time having a great deal of fun!

About: Matthew Williams graduated from Mark Keppel High School in June of 2006. He went on to study at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he received a B.A. in Music in June of 2011. Matthew is currently enrolled at Cal State University, Long Beach, where he is working towards a M.M. in Percussion Performance. His experience with numerous drum and bugle corps has taken him on three cross-country tours, while his tenure with the Cal Poly and Long Beach State wind ensembles have taken him to the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and to Carnegie Hall in New York. He is well-versed in numerous percussion idioms and styles, including marching, rock, pop, orchestral, band, and he is currently studying jazz improvisation.

Matthew's principal teachers include Dr. Dave Gerhart, Raynor Caroll, and Nick Mancini, as well as the late-greats Bobby Dee, Ross Sears, and Dr. Michael Carney.
